"A wonderful place to stay!"

"I actually love this hotel, usually, but on this occasion I was put in a room next to the lifts so I literally did not sleep all night with the noise. Also, the basin in the bathroom did not drain well and smelled of rotten eggs. Room service was ok, they forgot the drink I called them back and got asked to call back so that was a faff. It was obvious there had been water ingress around the ceiling near the entrance to the bathroom which was a shame as rest of room felt quite new. The window on the bathroom was super old with many layers of old crusty paint - why have they spent so much renovating this hotel but left out some details. The staff are very helpful and very polite. This girl is normally my favourite hotel in Sheffield but it missed the mark on this occasion. "

"Exactly what you’d expect from a budget hotel. Friendly staff, clean enough, perfect for a night or two on a budget. Only complaint would be I’d have liked a kettle in the room but no big deal."

"Great base for a short stay. Had been to see an act at Sheffield City Hall as well as see my daughter at uni there. Great central position. Not the owners fault, but as a single female could see how could be a little intimidated, two lads were sat legs out their window by the main entrance as I walked my daughter to friends around 11pm. "
