"Bedding clean and well built beds and furniture, bad smell of general hotel due to restaurant. Petrol generator underneath our bedroom window led to fumes 😂! otherwise decent stay for the price would recommend if you need a bed to sleep in after the prodigy ;)"

"Hi..it is a genuine spa-hotel...not a hotel with a spa. Healthy food (but also wine etc..) and it was delicious. Staff and amenities were solid and the rooms were 'fine' nothing over the top...but they do have Elemis lotions and creams in massive containers to use so even if you're not in the spa you feel like you are !!!"

"Parking is limited at the hotel so be prepared to find alternative parking. The water pressure in the room we had wasn’t good. The biggest plus about this place is the staff on reception they are lovely."

"The description of the Nuffield Health facility as a spa is somewhat misleading - it’s a sports club with a pool used for (noisy) swimming lessons, there is nothing relaxing about it as there are just 3 “beds” to sit on around the pool, and members make an issue of anyone having left a towel on there for just a few minutes (rudely removing it and taking the bed for their own use)."

"We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again."

"Disappointing that the breakfast description from reviews was "with some guests finding it plentiful and others appreciating the free and simple offering" it was more on the simple side, as in it was a selection of cereal and some bread to do toast, and with Orange and Apple Juice options and the usual Tea/Coffee. Also on the pictures, number 8 (as I type this) implied a goody bag was provided, but wasn't. Particularly, it looked like a yoghurt pot. There wasn't even yoghurt provided at...

"We have stayed at the hotel on several occasions now and find the staff so helpful & friendly .Breakfast was excellent and with some refurbishment works planned the appearance of some of the rooms should be improved,"

"Lovely building and room. Parking is a bit tricky as you have to block others in or be blocked in yourself. The reception is behind locked doors so very safe and secure"
