"The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. "Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean. Beautiful neighborhood. Close to a wonderful park with live performances of Shakespeare. A couple hitches with checking in and getting a code but otherwise very satisfactory stay."

Great self-contained room with everything Nulu has to offer on your doorstep..1st night there was some live music going on at across the street at Taj bar which kept me awake , but apart from that little bump i cannot fault the room... they have lots more in the back further away from street so worth checking. Excellent stay and will def return if im back !!"

"The hotel has been well maintained and was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had dim lighting. The water pressure was a bit low but did the job. We were on the 11th floor. Hotel location was great. Parking was a small walk so we did valet at $36ish per day and worked out great."

"Such a lovely building, clearly loved by all who work there. Information about the property, check-in procedure, etc. was communicated very clearly before my arrival. Fresh lemon blueberry scones were there for a snack when I arrived near midnight. Wow. When booking, I didn’t think about the lack of elevator at this property. My 68 year old knees did complain a little when climbing the external & interior stairs with my luggage."

"I paid for a two room suite but after checking in I was told that Exprdia enter my room descpition wrong in the system and was placed in a standard room. However, the hotel manager made things right by placing me in the correct room type. Also, I had very little sleep due to unsupervised young men playing loud music, talking loud, and running around in their room until 1am. "The check in reception clerks were very nice at approx 4:30 pm. We were back at the hotel after an event at approx 11:15 and the clerks then were not very nice/helpful. The water in the lobby was empty and not refilled for guests. The coffee in the morning on the lobby was all gone by 11 am. The room air conditioner did not cool the room enough. It was still warm after setting air to lowest option and my girls were warm sleeping. Other than that, room was clean and beds were comfortable"
