"Breakfast was a little pricey. The room we had did not have a mini fridge or microwave, which I should have noticed prior to booking. So that’s on me. Area is beautiful and the staff are nice and helpful. I will be back with my kids so they can enjoy it too. "

"This is a cabin resort depending on the room level. Rustic but you ARE in a national park so to be expected. If in the traditional or cabins, you walk up the hill to the dining room/bar. There are 2 short (1.5mi) right at the lodge"

"The hotel was closed upon arrival and no one ever arrived. The windows were broken and there was an odor of cat urine and a dozen feral cats. We left since the hotel was closed and sought other accommodations. I will demand a full refund from Expedia and my credit card company. Filthy!"

"Great location right outside of Luray for an affordable price. Very quiet and easy to check in. We called and got our door code and we were in earlier than our check-in time. The rooms had clearly been remodeled recently with updated flooring, paint, furniture, etc. The sheets and towels were lacking though. "Really cool old school full of History area to stay in the Shenandoah National Park. Feels great to be immersed in nature. Nice little Lodge area with overlook. A few small downsides... Person at front desk wouldn't change our room so that we could stay another night even though they had plenty of rooms available open for two nights. They said it was because I booked on Expedia. "Electricity in our room was not working. The room was not checked before we checked in. We could not open bedroom windows to get fresh air, since bedroom was small and not fresh. There was a weird sound in the room like tık tik tik. İt was coming from the floor or wall woods. We could not understand the source but it was disturbing in the middle of the night. It was a small noice but disturbing in the silence of the night."

"The good: Room was clean, bedding clean. Looks like it was updated recently, has new sink, new toilet, nice lighting with push button adjustment in bathroom. Had nice fridge that kept our food and drinks ice cold. And decent room size microwave. Air conditioner worked great! Shower head pressure was just ok but did the job. The view from hotel of mountains was beautiful, restaurant right next door. Quiet area, and lady at front desk was very nice and hospitable. Within mile or less or town....

"The kitchen did not have utensils of any kind, no plates or drinking cups. The TV remotes did not work even after staff came to check it out. Had to leave the TV on all night. Road noise was an annoyance making it tough to sleep."

"I was traveling by car and rain got worse, i stop and only 2 hotels Days Inn, and quality Days inn the curtains dirty an couldn't closed, insects over it. Insects in the floor, over the window, bad smell I understand is economic inn. But the cleaning must be the focus. I never will be back either free. Ah!! "Found this resort by accident and it was a total God Wink. It was exactly what we were looking for and loved it. Golf course was fantastic! We will be coming back at least twice a year on our trips back and forth from Florida to New York."
