Not the easiest place to get too - but after a few local buses we made it to the Miho Museum in the hills outside Kyoto.

The architecture is amazing with the glass museum poking out of the forest.

"This hotel is very impressive! It’s located near the Kyoto station, around 5 mins walk. The room is spacious, clean and have everything you needed. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. It offers a lot of variety option including fresh tempura and sashimi, etc. The hot spring is also very good which includes 4-5 pools. The hotel also offers free coffee at the lobby, ramen from 9-11pm as well as ice creams. I will definitely come back! "
