"Well located and very convenient (and cheap) parking right next to the hotel. Room was comfortable although hot and with no air conditioning it was fairly noisy with the window open at night due to the main road. Otherwise the breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful."

"We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

"Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron. Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. "

"It is a nice place especially for the younger person. The dining room was very large and doubled as the bar. Plenty of parking at the front including some disabled bays. It stands adjacent to a main road and a little distance to nearby shops but buses run passed it so , if you haven't got a car it's take a bus or a taxi. We stayed for a couple of nights and had no problems at all."
