Location okay. Room not awful but definitely needed some work, both in cleanliness and maintenance. I was not expecting the Ritz for the price I paid but was expecting more because of being a La Quinta. Also I prepaid fee but additional amount on credit card - I think for taxes. Not sure what that was about.

I've already voiced my opinion about my stay at your laQuanta in BOSSIER CITY, LA.on 2/14/26. Me and my fiance checked in around 6pm on the 14th went to the room and it was a mess. It smelled like toilet water and spoiled mop water. The carpet was nasty, the tub was so dirty it was unfir to bath our shower in. My fiance only takes baths. The dresser had a bloody rag in one of the drawers. There was mold and rust all around the entrance door and bathroom door. Baseboards were suppose to be white but looked as if people had been kicking boits and shoes against them since hotel was built. We could not stay there. We immediately checked out and went to another Wyndham site up the road (Microtel Inn) and it was nice. My girl was so angry bout the other room that i had no luck that night. But microtel inn was great. I have pics. Would like a full refund.

the room was NOT clean, bedspread was obviously dirty with gray spots on it. dirty towels in the bathroom. we got second room and bought cleaning supplies to make sure it was clean.

Would give negative stars if I could. Stayed one day out of a 2-week stay. To start with, they did not de-ice the stairs, and I had to remove the ice so my spouse would not fall down the stairs. The door's upper lock was snapped in half, there were mystery substances on the doors (both closet and hotel room doors), broken fissures in the tub, which looked like it had mold in it. 2 out if the 3 lamps did not have light bulbs. There were random nails sticking out of the wall in the bathroom. Told us there was no cancellation fee, but would not work with Expedia to refund any ammount for the days I did not stay there. Tried to checkout at 11, and it took almost 4 hours for someone to show up at the front desk, even after repeatedly calling them. Would NOT recommend, even to my enemy.

MOLD and DIRTY BEDDING.
The rooms they tried to make us stay in had mold in the bathroom and dirty bedding. We had to leave within 30 minutes of checking in because of the dirty and unsafe conditions of the room. I have stayed in some gross hotels but never had to do this. Despite the front desk associate understanding and acknowledging, the manager later refused to give us a refund even though we did not stay due to the dirty and unsafe conditions. He also denied it was mold (Google "mold in bathroom caulk" and it shows pictures exactly like what we took).
DO NOT under any circumstances stay here. Try one of the many other budget hotels in the area.

We ended up leaving a day early even though it was paid for because this hotel was so filthy and falling apart. I was not about to shower in that filthy bathroom. The toilet seat was not even attached to the toilet. There was a constant drip in the tub and the drain was rusted and not connected. I had to ask for toilet paper...there was NONE in the room. We were provided with one bath towel one hand towel and one washcloth. The gentleman running the desk was super kind and did everything within his power, but it was SO bad. There was bare minimum furniture in the room. A table with a microwave and coffee pot with one straightback chair, and the bed. Only one lamp worked. I changed out the bulb, but the other lamp did not work. The remote control for the 27sih inch TV did not work. There was a ton of paint dripped everywhere. Even the exterior was in poor repair. The asphalt parking lot was not even, cracked all over.

To say I was disappointed with my stay would be an understatement. My previous experiences with establishments bearing the La Quinta name have always been positive. But this last stay will dissuade me from ever staying at a La Quinta again. To begin my story, the first room I was assigned to, my room key did not work. After walking back to the lobby to request a new key, I entered the room and discovered a non-operative bathroom toilet, inoperative TV, hair in the bathroom basin and bathtub (I have photo of this, by the way.)
I went to the front desk and asked for a room changed. Upon entering the second room, I discovered two flies on one of the beds, again an inoperative TV, inoperative refrigerator and a very filthy bathtub. I reported all these issues to the front desk person but did not request a room change. I was informed that the following morning my room would be serviced and the TV issue resolved. The following day, i was out of the room most of the day and afternoon and upon returning to my room, nothing that the front desk person indicated would be resolved was done.
I stayed three nights at this budget motel. I do not expect a five star stay for a two star establishment but I do expect any amenity that is offered that it be working and at least a clean room. I cleaned the bathtub myself, the refrigerator and TV never worked and my concerns were dismissed. That is all.

Room was disgusting-smelled of smoke, hair and bodily fluids in bedding, cigarette burns in comforter, dirty floors and bathroom. Asked for a new room, it was worse. Someone came to the door to deliver drugs. Unsafe and unhygienic. I asked for them to cancel my room. Said a manager would call me, 6 days later and I still have not heard from them. No refund, no attempt to make things right. Had to book another room at a different, much better hotel.

DISGUSTING. We travel A LOT for work. We always stay at less expensive hotels when passing through for 1 night stays. Some are better than others, which is expected for the price, but this one is a hard no. The first room had black mold covering almost everything. The ceiling was caving in and the bed sheets were badly stained. Second room had the same black mold and the bed was actually broken. Third room had the same black mold, ceiling falling in but at that point we just needed sleep. I would highly recommend not staying at this hotel as I do not see how it is even legal for them to be open.
