"In a really convinient area surrounded by Starbucks, grocery store, etc. Air conditioning worked, easy parking, nearby road is a little loud, but couldn't hear other guests. Other than that, it was OK. I understand that it's a fairly inexpensive motel on the side of the freeway, but that doesn't exactly excuse it from adequate houskeeping and cleanliness, which could have been improved."

When a large room became available due to a cancellation the staff contacted us by phone to let us know we could change rooms. I appreciate their follow up. They were also very helpful with restaurant suggestions and their suggestions were very good."

"Charming and well loved warm and detailed and comfortable. Because I booked 3rd party I didn’t receive vital info that was necessary for positive host/guest relations. Had info been received in timely manner and understood much confusion and frustration no doubt avoided (no fault of host btw, host was a victim of this disadvantage as well) Positive area, cozy and had above basic amenities. "Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. "
