"Fabulous property with very helpful staff. Ran the local Parkrun and missed breakfast time but was made some fantastic bacon sandwiches when we both returned to the guest house. Staff was very accommodating which made the visit very enjoyable."

"Everything was excellent. There was one issue with a noisy water pump that was fixed promptly as soon as we brought it to our host's attention. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Southport. Parking would possibly be a little tight if all the spaces were in use and your vehicle was large. Location is good: quiet but within easy walking distance of town. Eateries very close indeed."

"Room was dirty. Full of dust. Bed was extremely hard. Didn't sleep for the 2 nights we stayed. Needs a major refurbishment. The staff were lovely though"

Room had no windows, dark and really unacceptable for even half the price.. "Sadly, there is not much positive to say about our bed and breakfast stay in a double room at this hotel. We stayed over the Open weekend and you can imagine how increased the room rates were. The hotel is tired, filthy and noisy. The double room is so small, you can't get into the room without having to close the door first. The bed and mattress were the most uncomfortable.
