"Beautiful Inn, reasonably priced, with great views of the ocean. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, pathway for long walks, very scenic location. Room was very nice, comfortable bed, refrigerator, spacious and very friendly front desk personnel. Highly recommend."

"The hotel was on the beach however there was no mentioned that the property of the hotel was on higher elevation therefore there is a straight drop to the beach where people cannot swim. The AC didn’t work however since it’s california we were able to sleep with the windows open which was a better deal anyways. We were able to enjoy the sounds of the waves while we slept. Not bad for a stay but some furniture pieces do need to get updated."

"So....where to start....the room was not very clean. Lots of sand on the floor. The bathroom was dirty. (Hair in bath, unflushed toilet). The room was hot, no cross ventilation. Fan was "clacky" couldn't use on higher velocity. Not the room I expected. We have stayed before, but most likely won't again. On the plus side, the staff is polite, friendly and efficient. Great location on the beach."

"Breakfast is a real highlight. I stayed there for a week and enjoyed a different hot breakfast every day as well as cereal, oatmeal, variety of breads for toast, etc. The location is the best of the Village as one can have a nice stroll down the street and eat at the fine restaurants and drink at the wine bars without having to drive. The rooms are comfortable and cosy and the patio is rich with flora. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’m certainly looking forward to my next...

"Very friendly and helpful folks at the front desk. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Smart TV, microwave, coffee maker, and cool red retro mini-fridge with freezer were nice to have in the room. Yummy cookies provided upon check-in, two free water bottles in the room and continental breakfast (pastries, breads, fruit, coffee, etc) were also appreciated. Location is terrific if visiting Hearst Castle. We’d stay there again."

"The property is amazing and beautiful. The staff is super helpful and very kind. The room was comfortable and just the right amount of space for the amount of time we spent there. Watching the sunset on the rooftop deck was the best part of the stay! The staff made sure everything was taken care of, right down to the food and drink recommendations for the area. We were on our honeymoon and they gave us champagne! Super thoughtful and awesome!"
