"The room was clean. The only complaint that I had was that there were some plumbing issues. The toilet did not want to flush. Also, had to call the front desk to ask for more toilet paper because they did not bring more. Other than that it was what I expected. The breakfast was good."

The location is perfect—tucked right by the Tanger Outlets for easy shopping and just a quick, straightforward 20-minute drive down to the Gulf Shores beaches. It was so nice to enjoy the coast during the day and retreat to a much quieter, more budget-friendly spot at night.The room was incredibly spacious and felt more like a mini-apartment than a standard hotel...

"Good distance from the beach and very convenient to restaurants but not so clean. We waited at the front desk to check in for over 10 minutes before anyone came to help. There was spoiled food in the refrigerator and dishes left in the dishwasher from previous guests. There was a giant cockroach in the hallway."

"The Location of this property is Ideal- main shopping area right there, restaurants and bars walking to . Very friendly greeting by Matt. Breakfast service good. Room was clean. The property is older, a painting, refurbishing would make this better! Definitely need new chair upholstery in common area, but I’d still stay here for a stay in charming Fairhope. Dinner at sunset Point Fly Creek marina great"

"Room seemed to have mold on ceiling and a musty smell. Bugs found in bathroom. Bed disgustingly dirty (mattress pad and mattress) dust on lamps. Staff were great after having some perfume taken from our room while they emptied trash mid afternoon. We chose this hotel for convenience to a funeral we attended."

"Such a warm welcome by Dana and Jim and the entire staff! Such a beautiful property with charm and character. Amazing delicious and healthy breakfast options! Will come back!"

"The stench of mold emanating from this property was grotesque. They had humidifiers in the hallways so it’s obviously a known issue. Either the local health department has toxic thresholds or I can’t see how this property can be compliant with health department code. The front desk was kind to put us in another room but the stench was pervasive throughout the whole property. Infuriating that I paid $242 a night for this danger to my health. Gives Expedia a bad name."

"Very nice staff running the property. Parking lot it kinda small but we had no problems. Older model rooms but BATHROOM very clean, SHEETS clean & the comforter smelled CLEAN. These things count. We didnt make it down for breakfast but I would stay again if but for convenience of the property."
