Great value for money in Singapore

Hotel is well located and the property is well maintained. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is good and lots of options in buffet. Bar is on site open till late. Dinner and lunch too costly and not much variety. Room service for food is very late and not much choice. Staff at breakfast are old timers and don’t pay attention to customers and would give a blank look upon eye contact. Needs a refresh I think. Reception staff are good but a little more friendly and smiles would only increase the business. Very safe neighborhood and close to Newton Sub way station with NSL and Downtown line. Overall very nice stay for us. They have a beautiful swimming pool and waterfalls at the hotel but they should work towards increasing food option at the pool and at least one sever to check if customers at pool. Also the kitchen exhaust fans are towards the pool side so when in pool you are over powered by the smell of food. May be the management needs to upgrade their exhaust system and drive it much up from the pool side.

The facility and room were wonderful. We enjoyed the stay here. There was a hitch, however, that the hotel double charged for breakfast although we bought a package with breakfast included option from Expedia. The hotel staff said only after check out that the breakfast was not included. But they did not tell us about this at the time of check in although it was on the confirmation slip. We don't know whose fault it is, Expedia or Sheraton. Expedia gave us back some credit but it was not full amount. Unfairly, we paid for their fault and mistake.

Initially there was an issue that was solved in two minutes by a great night manager. The hotel staff are friendly, professional and capable of anticipating your needs before you realize what you need!
