"Air conditioning was good, bed and bathroom seems pretty clean. Is seems a little outdated/old and had wallpaper peeling in a few spots. The hot water did not work even after I ran it for 10min waiting for it to warm up. "

"I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely poor. The room had a very strong musty smell, and the ceiling was covered in visible mold. The humidity was overwhelming and even caused me respiratory discomfort. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, as I found hair from a previous guest. Additionally, the bed was in very bad condition—the spring mattress was damaged, and I experienced severe back pain, as it felt like there was a hard bar running through the middle. Overall, the conditions were unacceptable. I was so uncomfortable that I had to check out one night earlier than planned due to the humidity and overall environment. I will not be staying at your hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others. This was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience."

"Great room and space was fine - was thinking room would be smaller! Coffee maker was a bonus. Staff at desk were always lovely and friendly. Mostly fine for waiting for lifts/elevators but at busier times was a longer wait. There are 3 though so wasn’t too bad as other reviews worried me about this before going. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Had to ask for firmer pillow though - they accommodated quickly. Walls are thin and did shake when other doors slammed shut. Situated by lift which wasn’t an issue but also by the cleaning cupboard so was woken a few times - one at 2:30am with someone on their walkie talkie. Smoke alarm was going off on night we got back - they removed battery and said would replace next day but it never got replaced before we then left. Overall a great stay - location is fab next to a lot of things and also to lots of subway options. Walkable to Staten Island ferry / charging bull / Wall Street etc. Would definitely stay here again."

"Friendly staff and a location close to fun neighborhoods. The room was clean and recently updated. Free coffee, afternoon cookies, and breakfast pastries. Easy luggage storage too."

"It is under renovation on the first floor and once you step out of the hotel, its dirty surrounding but thats NY for ya! Great friendly staff and smooth check-in! We got one of the upgraded rooms and great sq footage for a NY hotel! Very clean rooms. Very quiet overnight! Sub par stay! Would come back! Near subway! Good location to SOHO, Chinatown!"

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and this property. I stayed back in Feb in the days leading up to the blizzard - Shaq and the team were so incredibly helpful at this time and overall every staff member I met was incredibly thoughtful, considerate and polite. My room was immaculate, obviously the rooms are a little more compact but I never felt without. It is very thoughtfully designed. I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ll be returning in a couple of weeks. The location is perfect walking distance to really anything you may need. I think this will be my go to place on each NYC visit. Thanks again guys, look forward to seeing you soon! "

"The fan was terribly noisy all night long, and I couldn't sleep. This was despite the fact that we had turned off the air conditioning completely—yet the noise didn't subside at all. In the morning, there was another disappointment: they offer breakfast, but it just a bar consists of nothing more than coffee and a sandwich or a croissant—and that's it! You are definitely better off finding a proper breakfast nearby."
