"A delightful find in Sintra. Ne need to stay at a big name hotel when this boutique place has EVERYTHING. We got the least expensive room since ours was a shot stay. We were assigned a charming room in the former wine cellar. No elevator and we were prepared to carry our suitcases downstairs but the staff insisted on doing it. "I’m not sure how this hotel would be considered 5 star. There are absolutely no amenities... pool, gym, valet etc. I’d say solid 3 star. The restaurant server was very rude to us. Our room smelled like well water and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever seen in any hotel. "Such a gem and immaculate stay. All of the details you expect and more from a Bed and Breakfast. The house is well-maintained and appointed. I love the rooms' uniqueness and spaciousness. The bathroom details are fabulous with the plushest towels, robes, and soaps, and they provide washcloths, which aren't easy to come by in European hotels.
