"I wish I could have stayed longer. Such a beautiful place and so quiet. The views are marvelous and their food options are good. Breakfast does not come with the room but they do serve it in the restaurant on site. We had breakfast and it was good and not that expensive. There are many food and dining options just minutes away. The staff were great. I’m definitely coming back but for a longer stay. It beats the overcrowded Estes Park hands down. "
"Perfect location for a young family with little ones. Right on the lake and couple hundred feet to beach/boat rental , icecream, park, great food/drinks. It’s not brand new and could use a little updating but it was cozy and great bang for the buck. "

"The Expedition Lodge is very quirky and different, but in a good way! Definitely not a cookie cutter chain hotel...and you should like stairs, lol. The lodge seems to be built on a hill and there are several short sets of stairs in all directions from the lobby. There is an elevator that will bring you to some of the rooms, though. "The views are spectacular. The place was an excellent choice for our getaway. The hot tub is right outside the master bedroom! They supplied firewood for the fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with all kids of useful tools. Overall we had a great time and look forward to our next visit."
