"I cannot recommend the Archibald at Charles Bridge more highly. Excellent location in “Lesser Town” (less touristy side of the river). Next to Kampa Park, right on the river, 10-15 minute walk to excellent Artic Bakery, 10 minute walk from Metro, trams, buses and the Kafka Museum. Lovely European breakfast daily. Comfortable bed. "Stayed here for multiple nights, group of 3 people. Our first night was in the heatwave, so it was quite hot with no AC, only two fans. Otherwise, very comfortable rooms and living space, very clean, extremely well located in the city - you are 30 seconds from the main canal! The team was very responsive and we had no issues there. Would definitely stay again!"

"Very spacious and sunlit rooms. A couple of block away from the historic bridge, yet very quiet area. It was easy to get to any other place from there via the tram. If you like running and like a challenge the beautiful garden leading to the monastery is two blocks the other way."

"I loved Hotel Jewel and the restaurant and the staff were fab. I only gave it a 4 as there is no elevator and I was on the 3rd floor and the luggage elevator only worked till 2nd floor - so it was quite the hike up and down. Ask for a room lower down if you don't like stairs. Still would recommend."
