"We loved our stay at Kauai shores! The hotel was just like the pictures, we loved the restaurant. The complementary valet was great and handy since parking is limited. I loved that is close to the stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! "

"This is an older resort and needs some updates, but our room was so nice. They upgraded us to oceanfront and we loved turning off the ac and opening the glass door to see and hear the waves roll in, also beautiful ocean breezes. The staff was amazing. So kind and helpful. And we got a great price for the product. Would definitely stay there again! Just behind Coconut Marketplace, so walking distance to shops and good food. Jo Jo’s and Chicken in a Barrel are two of our favorites. ...

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple with fresh fruit and grab and take items. They do have a microwave. Parking was great! Loved the ocean view and easy access to restaurants, beaches and walking paths. Were disappointed with the one bathroom window that was in need of repair around the frame. It had very dark stuff around it like dirt, rust or mold(??)."

"We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a very authentic Hawaiian atmosphere with an open and relaxing layout, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. "The oceanfront views are excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. Comfy bed and nice balcony. Renovated bathroom with oversized tub but challenging entry/exit which could be resolved with handle assist. Great parking and awesome pool with waterfall. "

"Room was too outdated. Staff were fantastic, Didn’t have to use the hot tub and spa. Parking charges is ridiculously expensive although knew that per booking. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet every day to start our day and had a great time mainly relaxing by the pool and walks on the beach. "

"Our American airlines flight got cancelled for 9:30 pm on 5/10/26. American ran our of hotel rooms to put us up till the next day do we found this hotel on a search web site. The hotel is very close to the airport which worked out well for us. We were disappointed the cafe is closed on mondays. The hotel was not the greatest but it met our needs. The room was clean and had basic necessities for our stay."
