"I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share feedback regarding my family’s recent stay at RumFish Beach Resort in St. Petersburg, Florida. We traveled for a short spring break vacation and reserved two rooms, looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
This trip was especially meaningful to us, as it was our family’s first vacation since my battle with breast cancer last year, and we had truly hoped for a positive and restful experience.
I would like to begin by acknowledging the positives during our stay. The food we enjoyed at the resort was excellent. My husband commented that his steak at RumFish Grille was the second-best steak he has ever had—which, coming from someone who eats a lot of steak, speaks volumes. The bread and butter were also exceptional.
Additionally, your hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would especially like to recognize the hardworking coffee barista who served guests each morning with a smile. The coffee and pastries quickly became one of my favorite parts of each day.
We also sincerely appreciate your prompt and kind response in relocating us after we brought concerns about our initial rooms in the Mahi building to your attention. Your attentiveness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted our overall experience. The condition of the hotel property itself appears to require considerable attention and upkeep.
