"The property is in a quiet village, with ample grounds and free parking. Victoria , the owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and room and en-suite were spotlessly clean. The selection available for breakfast was extensive and everything was cooked freshly. Overall excellent value. The property is in walkable distance to a station on the mainline into New Street, Birmingham, which takes c15 minutes."

"We didn’t stay for very long, but the room was clean and beds comfortable. It took a while for our room to warm up, which was a little annoying as we arrived at the hotel very late. However, the gentleman at reception was helpful and managed to sort it out from reception . The staff were all lovely and, as mentioned in previous reviews I’d read, the breakfast was great! Overall a nice and comfortable overnight stay"

"Stayed for 2 nights as half board. The room was clean and had a lovely view of the golf course looking like an open park with trees and lawns. A good spread of food variety for breakfast and the evening meal. We relaxed in the spa using the pool sauna and steam room. A very pleasant weekend."

"A good hotel, very convenient for meeting up with friends. The only problem was a continuous buzzing sound which made it very hard to sleep. I tried switching off all electrical appliances but it appeared to be coming from outside the room. I even went down to reception to see if they knew what it was and could do anything but they didn't seem interested."

"Very welcoming and helpful staff, great with our children too. Our room was great, however the bathroom felt a bit tired. There was a weird musty smell in our toom when wr got there, but once we opened the window and let it all air out it was fine. Breakfast was regularly topped up, offering plenty of variety."

"A functional, clean hotel with professional and friendly staff. No thrills and priced accordingly. If you need to somewhere nearby, it’s a solid choice. Decent shower. No Air Con. Car park is poorly maintained and the pub at the front looks derelict - I genuinely couldn’t work out whether it was open or not. It had the appearance of having been shut for years, whilst seemed to be advertising the ongoing World Cup! Avoid for a romantic break, but absolutely stay here if you need practical...

"The check in was chaotic, I.e. no room number or lockbox instruction until after check in time, then no key in the lockbox and no telephone number to call to discover what to do next. "
