"The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable with the exception of the pillows were a little too stiff. I prefer softer pillows. The breakfast was very good. The staff kept the dining area nice and clean. The staff was very friendly."

"Checkin was great, room was comfortable and clean. I parked in the hotel’s garage, which they list on their website for $16 per night. The billing for parking is run by an automated system called Metropolis. Metropolis billed me twice, $16.99 each, despite my following the hotel’s directions to select unlimited in and out when I pulled into the garage. Am now arguing with Metropolis to refund one of the charges. Good hotel, but points off for frustrating parking."

"Bar closed early (9pm). Over 1/2 hour wait for dinner seating. Beach closed due to lake water level. Carpet in room needed more vacuum cleaning. Bathroom ceiling water stained. "The hotel, room, and staff were all good. The best part of this hotel was how calm and quiet our room was. We weren't the only people at the hotel, but perhaps we were the only ones on the third floor. I'm not sure, but either way I appreciated the peace and quiet. Now onto the bad part. This hotel must have previously been a smokers hotel, because the entire building reeks of tobacco smoke. You get used to it after a day or so, but if you can't acclimate to the smell then you seriously need to...
