"The Marlo is a nice place to stay overall. The location is great, just short walk distance from the downtown, but away from a busyness of it. The rooms were clean with plenty of space (we stayed at Higge Courtyard room). I'm not sure why there was only a lamp on one of the nightstands but not on the other, so I had to walk in a dark to my side of the bed after turning the light off for the night. The reason for 4 stars is that, unfortunately, the walls between the rooms (not within the suite...

"We’ve been staying here a few times per year for about 12 years. It’s cost effective and clean. They offer discounts to local business and a light breakfast. They continually do work on the property to keep it well maintained."

"The property was old but updated. Everything worked ( especially pleased with the jacuzzi!). The only issue was that the light over the bed was not accessible to a night stand. The light was on one side the nightstand in the middle of the two beds. Awkward. I just moved a chair to that side. The rest of the room was very accommodating."

"Good location in Buellton, walking distance to the Firestone Walker Brewery for a meal and a good beer, near Mother Hubbards for a delicious breakfast, and close to the freeway too. There is no pool, and no area to sit outside but there is a coin operated washer and dryer on site next to the ice machine and vending machines. I’m single and travel alone, the room was great. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, and microwave oven, and a small fridge. They offered a complimentary...
