"Nicely located with friendly and polite staff. I paid for a city view room with a view of the court roof and a tree. I was at the property very early by 4 hours and not withstanding my request to check in early, my room with the worst view was not available til after the check in time of 4pm. I had to request that the bedroom sheets be replaced as they appeared to be stained or dirty. This was promptly done though. Finally, the room coffee maker did not work properly and the signature wine...

"Room was well appointed and spotless. We only stayed overnight but still got the "Royal" treatment, including a light breakfast delivered in the morning. Highly recommend."

We did the free trolly to learn more about Solvang, went to a great play in town, shopped, and had dinner. Stopped by Paula’s Pancake cafe on the way out of town and had a great breakfast! "Everything was fine, clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was continental style. Place is located in the center of Solvang, easy to walk from there. Only thing negative was the bed mattress. All woke up sore. Time to change them."

"The pool was nice and warm, but could have been a bit cleaner. I was not a huge fan of the style of sink in the hotel bathroom. It is really high and makes it very difficult for kids to brush their teeth. Everything else was pretty nice."

"This is a great weekday value as you can often stay for under $240 a night. Weekend can run $400-$500. That is not worth it to be honest. Breakfast is very continental but decent. Room is very large and bathroom is excellent with great water pressure in the shower. The inn manager Caroline is awesome. "
