"Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going."

"We had a wonderful stay at Acadia Hotel. The rooms were easily accessible by either elevator or stairs. My favorite feature was the 24-hour coffee and tea station, which was especially appreciated before heading out into the crisp, chilly mornings of Acadia or after returning from a day of exploring. They also have iced coffee on tap, which I imagine is a great perk during the summer.
Breakfast was stellar, with a good selection of options, including yogurt, toast, and an omelet station. The...

"We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking!
Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell.
There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever.
We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...
