The property is old and held together with I don’t know what.
The beds are old the mattress are spring mattresses, it wasn’t the worst experience. The staff were of a different nationality and most didn’t speak nor acknowledge you except the front desk. The same woman just stood in the hall and stared at me two days in a row. It’s like they don’t trust anyone. You can’t have breakfast from the breakfast room in bed, but you can order in. The coffee machine in the breakfast room has the worst coffee I’ve ever had or the product being dispensed is very old! The biscuits and gravy, are in crockpots, the gravy is so hot you could burn your tongue on first bite, the biscuits are very old dry and crumbly, you cannot cut them with the sad little plastic fork they give. The health department safety certification for the pool is set to expire at the end of the month. I don’t recall seeing one for food service or food safety requirements. I am a former certified food safety manager. The front desk was super accommodating, extra blankets, towels, politeness in explaining the rules. The entire complex needs a facelift and refresh. I am glad it wasn’t over $60 a night. Clean it up or sell it off.
