"We stayed in a room on the upper floor with an outdoor balcony as we requested. We liked our room and enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. We enjoyed the view of the mountains from the room's balcony, The lodge includes a restaurant and a separate bar. The cook for the restaurant was exceptional for the crab cake special dinner, and for the breakfast omelette, especially the gourmet mini round potatoes. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful."

"The room was very dark. Turning on the light in the bathroom made an extremely loud noise. At check in, we mentioned our kids and were told there was an additional charge if a guest was a minor. There were only 2 towels provided for 4 guests. We were there 2 nights and no one came to empty trash or bring clean towels. When we tried to use the pool, we were told something broke that afternoon and it was closed. No offer to credit us anything for lack of pool. The casino was also extremely smokey and had nothing but video slots. "

"They really need to do some updating — it was my second time here and in 2 years it just got more beat up looking and more crowded. They are also charging way way more and at $400 a night I expect a clean carpet and some more folks working at the ice cream parlor. I felt bad seeing others with small kids stand in long lines. "

"Breakfast was great. Peacocks and peahens were interesting. The facility is remote and eclectic. "

"The walls were not as soundproof as imagined. The mini fridge was broken. There were strands of hair found on the pillows. Not the best stay but also not the worst."

"We only stayed one night at the Inn but loved it. The room was clean and lovely, the food at the restaurant delicious (I had the Sandia salad with what may have been the best piece of salmon ever), and we enjoyed having our own golf cart to go from the main hotel to our casita. Our favorite part was late night stargazing from the roof deck in the warm desert night- just heavenly. "
