Parts of the carpet were sticky and stained and there was a huge crack in the outside of the bath which looked like someone had booted it. Top South Clifton Hotel Reviews

Duke William Hotel

8/10 Good

"Lovely hotel above a pub. Rooms very comfortable and warm with lovely amenities. Very clean, shower and toiletries great and welcome cookies a nice touch. Breakfast was generous. Only constructive feedback is that it would be useful to have someone on the hotel side separate to the pub as it took a while retrieving bags on two occasions when the staff were very busy in the pub. Other than that, a great stay in beautiful Lincoln."

The Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"An enjoyable stay I would recommend this hotel and definitely would stay again."

Woodcocks, Lincoln by Marston's Inns

8/10 Good

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

Washingborough Hall Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A very friendly welcome and staff were always ready to help my partially disabled wife. The meals were excellent and well planned. The hotel was very welcoming and felt homely with such Georgian/ Victorian style ."

The Barn Hotel & Spa

"Room was better than expected based on reviews, they do need some updating but it was absolutely fine for our stay. Communal areas were nice and we enjoyed our breakfast. We will be back next year for the next reunion."
