"We very much enjoyed the upstairs pool, i believe there is a fee for the pool & jacuzzi on lower ground. Restaurant was lovely, polite and helpful staff. Our AC wasnt working properly, even when the gentleman came and fixed it, it wasnt really cool, but not an issue as was quite cool for june. If i were to share some constructive criticism, it would be a lovely touch to have a mini fridge in the deluxe & superior rooms! "This is our third stay in this lovely hotel. I love it, they’re so friendly, very welcoming. It’s so close to all amenities & the harbour. My only criticism was that they no longer offer a parking permit or concession for the bays outside the front. I have a blue badge and my husband had to park the car in the Pavilion at a cost of £15 per day. "

"We stopped from 7th July to 11th July this year 2025. We had a lovely break in the Durley Dean, its clean and tidy and the staff are first class, very friendly. Ok its dated but its Victorian. The bus stops are 200 yards away from the hotel entrance in the direction of Bournemouth and the buses are frequent to lots of local towns and resorts. We were out every day going to somewhere. Swanage, Poole, Westbourne and Christchurch. We would go again. Thank you Durley Dean"
