Merchants Manor

"Beautiful hotel, classic early 1900's style. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the pool was out of commission for the duration of our stay but they offered us alternative spa treatments instead. My one recommendation would be to allow guests to lock their doors from the inside and to provide hooks on the outside of all doors to allow "Do not disturb" signs to be hung up. We had neither and a member of the cleaning staff came into the room whilst we were in bed asleep. The staff were very apologetic and this issue can be easily avoided with the above solutions."

"Beautiful location created from a holy place. The surrounding trees and the hill sets the hotel apart from the busy city, while still walkable to the downtown and other attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Site is a bit worn in some areas and breakfast was below the expectation."

"The Lerryn is family run! Therefore hospitable, the atmosphere is welcoming as is the breakfast my room welcomed me with comfort, double windows and Balcony with Sea View! Would I stay again, See you next April 😁!!"

"Wonderful all round. Lucy at the front desk was charming and helpful. Bob, who helped us with our bags, has a wry sense of humour. All the staff were great. Lovely view of the estuary. Highly recommend"
