"The property was great! We were allowed to check in early to stay out of the rain which was very kind! The bed was comfy, but a little small! The TV was great! We had great channels to watch in the evenings! The bathroom was a good size and the shower pressure was great!!! Very happy with our stay!! "

"Easy check in, friendly owners. Ideally placed close, to train station and walking into Oxford. Bedroom compact but had everything we needed hairdryer on request. It was very clean and the bed was comfy. Continental breakfast and option to upgrade to cooked breakfast. Work going on outside but did not hamper our stay. Would return."

"Uniqueness & history of home… Beautiful home, be ready to walk up 3 1/2 floors if room is on top floor…. No lyft. Not a problem for a 17th century hm, just realize that- Would recommend a bathtub safety bar in rm 310#. Very sm tub, but nothing to help pull to get out of it! Rather comical trying to get out… just funny after 10 minutes… lol. Loved our stay…"

"I liked the room as it was quiet and peaceful. It was within 1 min walk to Brighton Palace Pier and the beach. It is in perfect location. The staff are friendly and polite and the room was nice and clean. I liked the housekeeping as it provided new fresh towels and complimentary tea and coffee sachets, etc. There was no lift but overall I was happy with the booking. The booking was easy and it was easy to check out-no issues at all."

The building is historic so there is no elevator so if you need special accommodations - call ahead. The area around the inn is lovely: lots of lovely places to eat and a great pub right next door!"

"Wow!!! What a lovely surprise. We expected just your average guesthouse, but we were blown away. This place was so lovely. The guest house and our room were exceptionally clean. The owners had thought of everything: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, lovely-smelling products in the bathroom, kettle, Biscoff biscuits to go with the tea or coffee. Plenty of towels. Despite being on the top floor, the shower was powerful. We had really comfortable beds and slept like babies. It took us less than 10...
