"Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre.
We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good."

"Lovely location and a real charachter property. The whole place was nice and clean and had all the facilities you could need. Great selection available for the continental breakfast and all presented nicely. Great comeunication from the host prior to arrival and the whole experience was very welcoming."

"Bed was reasonably comfortable. We were there during a heat wave, no fan in our room but one was provided for our second night. Parking was a bit of a challenge.
For Canadian travellers, not the traditional B&B, breakfast is not automatically included in your stay, check to see if you have paid extra!
Very busy street, bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and book a room facing the street. Check in was fast and easy."

"We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms.
They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay.
Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep.
We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊"
