"Upon arriving we noticed that the pool was drained and unusable. Guest were outside their rooms with coolers and lounge chairs. I can’t remark about my stay, because I canceled at the desk after being shown my room. This motel look more like a section 8 hotel. I read all the reviews, I can’t believe others gave this place good ratings."

"Super clean and new. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the sink faucet was not attached properly and there are few hooks for hanging towels (like many hotels)."

"The motel is in disrepair with external stairs being uneven and having exposed nails and torn carpet. The inside of the room was dirty in the corners, there was hair in the sink, and the sink was clogged. The bedding and sheets seemed clean, however."

"Location was very good. Parking was good. Breakfast was good. Manager was very helpful. Pool was not open for use unfortunately. Rooms are a little dated but they are clean and comfortable and good size. I would definitely stay here again."

"I spilled soda on the floor and the next day after the cleaning staff was there the floor was still sticky. Around the building, against the building weeds were a foot tall. Parts of the building are rotting or being eaten by insects. Each time we entered or left the building we had to pass through smoke from staff and others who were sitting there smoking and vaping. The so called “free breakfast” was almost non existent and what little was there was unpleasant."

"Excellent stay here!!!! Stayed in the value double queen room and it was actually very nice, no complaints at all. The breakfast and lunch during the day was very delicious. Property was well maintained and clean the entire trip. Even the beach area was excellent. They take well care of the Georgian and I will definitely be back. I’ve stayed at the Surfside and Fort William Henry in the past and this is by far my favorite place to stay. Easy walk to town. Could not recommend enough."

"I stayed for one night last minute. This is the cheapest accommodations in the area by far, but you definitely get what you pay for. Air conditioning wasn't the greatest, and the TV did not work. Bed sheets and towels were clean. It was a bit loud at night, there were some barking dogs and loud people in the halls. I stayed in a non smoking room but all my clothes picked up the odor in the room, which smelled like stale smoke. Overall it served my needs for a place to sleep."

"This is a nice motel. The only negative is the 20 steps going up to the 2nd floor. The room is spacious with 2 queen beds, 3 large pillows on each bed, and a thin blanket. The AC, the fridge, and the coffee pot with 2 reg coffee packets, 2 decaf packets and condiments are worked. The magnifier mirror was a nice touch. The pool and deck looked beautiful but we did not have time to use. Parking is free but not room assigned. Staff were nice."

"There was moldy patchwork on the bathroom ceiling, the toilet was dirty, the grout in the bathroom floor was caked with dirt, there were scratches on the front door in the bathroom door, like a dog was contained, and there was bedbugs in the bed closest to the window. My friend has several bites on her legs. No compensation or apology was given."

"We checked in a bit late and the over the phone assistance was excellent and the room was very clean. The only thing I will say is that it took a very long time for it to cool down in the room due to the air conditioner not working the best and the temp kept rising but it was very hot outside so it could have just been over worked. Other than that a very convenient spot in town for the price."

"The remote control didn't work properly. The staff tried to fix it, but apparently it was beyond their capacity. The beds squeak terribly. Although there was only two floors, there wasn't an elevator in the building, so we had to carry our luggage and other things up stairs to the 2nd floor. As we are in our mid 70's, this was very inconvenient. I can't recommend a stay at this hotel."
