"We had a rough start with a very long check-in wait. Official check-in was at 3 PM, but we still had no rooms after 4 PM. Fortunately, a helpful staff member stepped in and got us sorted, though we still lost a few hours waiting.
The room itself was absolutely worth the wait. It was immaculate, clean, and very comfortable. We had one issue where housekeeping failed to clean the tub one day, but they quickly sent someone up to remedy it.
The pool situation was our biggest disappointment. It was a very long walk from our tower, and trying to escape the 110-degree weather was a nightmare. They charge $300 for an umbrella. To use the lazy river you had to buy your own floaty, both are completely outrageous and unreasonable for a resort of this caliber. The cost of drinks has completely gotten ridiculous. Outside of the pool pricing madness, the food was delicious and everything else was a lot of fun. It’s a great property, but they really nickel-and-dime you at the pool."
