"Staff were great. Plenty of shops near by including restaurants. Did have to have my keycard reset multiple times, really only complaint. "

"Room and products in the room (e.g., sheets, comforters, shower curtains, etc.) were not clean and had visible marks/stains. I did NOT inform the staff as I did not expect anything to change."

"The room we booked ended up having bed bugs. So my girlfriend and myself are covered in bites. The property manager offered to move us to another room, neither of us felt comfortable so we declined. We did get a full refund though. "

"I really appreciated how the sheets were freshly clean. They felt like they'd just been washed and I slept at ease and comfort. I didn't really like I could hear people talking in the hall at 2am. But you can't really control your guest."

"This was our first time staying there and everything was awesome! We had a king size room with the couch, the room was so comfortable! They had shops right there and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was good. We will be returning to this hotel 🙂"

"The hotel itself and the room were very clean. However, the indoor pool was not usable unfortunately, as it was freezing cold. The indoor pool was one of the reasons we booked the stay at this particular hotel, so it was a little disappointing."

"This property was awful. There was blood on bedding when we got there and this property person makes you put a deposit in CASH. Don't stay here The guy is crooked and is looking to steal you money. As well he is super rude once you call him out. Also there are people screaming all night. Had to leave for the airport at 3 am and they were still going."

"Maybe with the new name the property over time will be better. However, I stayed here with my family about 4-5 years ago and it was a different name then. The care of the overall facility has not changed much over time. The carpets in the rooms still need to be removed and replaced with new carpet or vinyl hardwoods. The beds weren’t bad and the new shower heads were the best part of my stay. The breakfast could also use an upgrade."

"Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Newport News was one of the worst on our US roadtrip. We had to change rooms during our 2 day stay because of non-working door-locks. The entire facility is poorly maintained. Bedlinen are dirty, all family members had bites from bedbugs all over their bodies after our stay there. Rooms are not well cleaned, ACs are dirty and full of dust. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Cannot compare to Holiday Inn Hotels here in Europe, a house like this would have had...

"Parking and check in was easy. The front desk was friendly and prompt. The room was impeccably clean. All of the linens were white. Everything seemed to be wiped down smelled fresh and the air conditioning was great. I’m actually shocked that I paid the price I did. I would’ve thought that a room like that would’ve went for more. I definitely will come back if I’m in the area!"
