"The location was perfect to many attractions; however, the only downfall of the property is there is no lift/elevator to enter the hotel. I can say the hotel staff was very helpful with getting our luggage up the stairs into the hotel. Also, other guests help other guests as well with luggage."

"Lovely old fashioned hotel but a bit tired. It wasn’t possible to lock the door from inside using the key and the snip didn’t work. Also the door didn’t fit snugly into the door frame. Otherwise the room was clean but it was described as a triple room but had four single beds in the room which made the room feel a bit cramped. The breakfast was included in room rate and the breakfast items were varied and delicious. Great location overlooking Blackheath Common."
