The Bermondsey Square Hotel

"I arrived early for check in hoping to just be able to leave my bag but after a quick check, I was told my room was ready. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, and explained everything I needed to know. The room was clean, a sufficient size for me and very comfortable - the air conditioning was particularly welcome. The toiletries in the bathroom were pleasant (a nice surprise to have conditioner included) and the tea tray (and biscuits) and the water bottles in the fridge were replenished daily. All in all, I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay."

"Cleaning in our 3 rooms was sporadic Towels taken away were not always replaced Cleaning folks not paying attention to soap, shampoo and conditioners We ran out on 2 items Need a major training course for the cleaning staff Everyone else in the hotel was terrific"

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The Room Service, front desk staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We also really enjoyed the restaurant and bar, both of which offered great food, drinks, and service. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and was a great way to start the day."

"I was weary to stay in a dorm but it was great. It was very clean. The breakfast was excellent and filling. The staff were so nice. It had a lovely safe family feeling. I loved the area. Right across from Tate. It was handy to many tubes - the walk to Blackfrairs tube is actually much quicker with shortcuts that Google Maps doesn’t show. Luggage storage in a giant room with others but they take your name and give you a number - have to show ID to pick it up so very safe. Kitchen you can use. It was extremely hot, but anyplace without air con would have been during the 30 degree heat. Ask for a fan at the desk for a wee bit of a reprieve, but still hot. Quiet where it is, but lots of action just around the corners. Great value for London."

"Everything was superior from start to finish. The hotel is modern, stylish, and exceptionally clean, with comfortable rooms and outstanding service. The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. The location is perfect for exploring London, with many attractions within walking distance. I would highly recommend Sea Containers London and would gladly stay here again."

"Hotel is in great location. A/C doesnt cool good enough to keep up with outside. Thermostat set to lowest setting allowed and still very warm in room. Bathroom was nice, except for high tub walls. They are extremely high for people who may have issues getting in or out for bathing. Staff was very helpful. I would be ok with staying here again IF not during Summer time heat."
