"My partner and I recently stayed at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel for a last-minute anniversary getaway, and overall we had a lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel well looked after. Check-in was quick and easy, which helped us settle in and start enjoying our stay straight away.
One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the hotel. The entire property was spotless, from the reception area to the hallways and our room. Everything felt fresh, tidy, and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. The room itself was spacious and relaxing, although I do think a few more toiletries should be provided, especially for a four-star hotel.
The swimming pool was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. It was clean, well kept, and a great place to unwind. The only downside was that there were no spa staff available during our visit, and unfortunately the sauna was broken, which was a little disappointing as we were hoping to make full use of the facilities.
Breakfast was good overall, with a nice variety of options available. There was plenty to choose from, whether you wanted a cooked breakfast, pastries, fruit, or cereals. Some of the hot food was a little lukewarm, but it was still enjoyable and there was enough choice to suit everyone.
