"Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!"

"Friendly staff and very clean and tidy rooms. We were on the 2nd floor so the views were very nice too. There is on-site parking available for a fee but make sure to reserve your spot in advance. Breakfast was complimentary and it was a buffet so a variety to choose from and You can make your own fresh waffles!!!! Overall great experience. "

"Location fantastic,staff very friendly, breakfast was great parking was ok too. The room was a big let down, I have stayed there before and said that the rooms looked tired and I was assured that they were being upgraded in January . Well my room showed no sign of that, the paint was peeling, the room was noisy, not helped by the fact that we couldn’t close the window. Gary Elelman 9-10 April"

"Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. "

"My son has a duck feather allergy. We asked at front reception if we can use some hypoallergenic hollow Fiber pillows to which their reply why house keeping is gone and we don’t know where they store them. My son ended up getting a full on body rash and couldn’t sleep all night. "

"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. The worst aspect was the small continental breakfast left in the room or delivered in the...

"Lovely room, great food in restaurant. Hotel doesn't do breakfast in week but lovely cafe next door doing breakfasts etc. Car park close too, have to pay but free 7pm to 7am."
