Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Like many hotels the food was excellent, the service was excellent the rooms are beautifully decorated and the simple things like having a decent shower or bar are so well catered for. "Good location in Rye and we managed to utilise the hotel parking. However, the building and the bedrooms need some money spent on them, for general maintenance and updating (and fixing the rooms). The single staff member we saw was great but wouldn't hurt for them to have extra help in peak check-in and breakfast times."

"Shower head holder is broken and you need to hold it manually! Room is next to the road and is very noisy with traffic noise. Breakfast is good with fresh fruits. There is no air con and no fans to lend to customers when we asked."
