At check in the clerk told me I needed to pay 100.00 cash to check in. I assumed it was a standard hotel security deposit until I offered my credit card and he said he would only accept cash. I felt super unsafe. When I refused to pay cash he simply shrugged it off.

My only real problem was when I requested a room on the bottom floor I was told that I was going to be charged an extra $30. Same exact room but for some reason it was more expensive. I have 2 small children and my husband had thrown his back out the day before, so this was a real inconvenience. The property is alright, could use some updating, the staff was using old rusty shopping carts to carry around linen and trash. With all the money this place is making you would think they could afford some upgrades. You get what you pay for here. You also have to leave $100 cash for damages, you get it right back at the end of your stay as long as nothing is broken or damaged.On a good note the room wasn’t bad, just small inconveniences.

Please be aware for Expedia this hotel requires a cash only deposit of $100 (they do return at check out.) Hotel does not have an ATM so it was very inconvenient to have to find an ATM that was actually working. Room was clean but locks on the door were very sketchy.

Hotel was comfortable and there was a pier to fish off of. Only thing that was a bit inconvenient was that upon checking in they required $100 cash for incidentals. They don’t take card for the incidentals anymore so we had to go get cash out before we received our room key. Other than that it was a good stay

My most sincere honest opinion, This hotel was extremely disappointing , the room was a suite We had to leave a $100.00 deposit at the desk plus pay resort fees Did I get what I paid for? NO The hotel needs maintenance, lots of it The room curtains had moth holes as the chair itself did too . the restroom had small roaches when lights went out. The entrance dead bolt did not work, the balcony door latch did not work, the closet hanging rod was missing, the restroom door had parts of wood missing at the bottom ( need an entire door) The nightstand lamp did not work, Bed cover was torn and had a hole Ceiling fan in room did not work Seriously, this is only one room, i can only imagine what issues the others might have The only thing I enjoyed was the pool However, I will never recommend or visit this hotel again

The bed felt like springs and a hard board, the room smelled like someone emptied an entire bottle of horrible perfume. We paid more for the hot tub in room but did not use it as it was beyond disgusting. You could see to the outside from both doors in the room, which made our room extremely humid. The shower was disgusting. No water pressure at all. The hotel was fully booked so we could not ask for a different room. They have a no refund policy so we got screwed. Even the check in process was ridiculous. Instead of helping us check in the 3 employees working argued over missing money from the day before. The guy who did check us in was nice and the back deck by the bay was enjoyable. The property is run down and in need of repairs.

There is a $100 cash only deposit that wasn’t communicated on the reservation, so be sure to bring that- we did receive our full deposit back. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and excellent communicators; however, their job is very difficult with the condition of the property. I would not stay here again due to the condition of the hotel (dirty, towels that were hanging up in our bathroom were dirty, mold smell, air conditioner leaks, rust everywhere), but it is an affordable option close to the beach if cleanliness is not a priority to you.
