I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay at the Menger Hotel.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and the history is wonderfully preserved with original, unique furniture, mirrors, and pictures.

However, I had a serious security concern during my stay. At 5:30 PM, a male employee attempted to enter my room without notice or request. Housekeeping is on demand only, so there was no reason for anyone to enter. Had the timing been slightly different, he would have walked in while a man was inside the room, which could have led to a very dangerous situation.
I informed the front desk immediately, as this incident left me very shaken up. Due to this lack of privacy and security, I will not be staying at this hotel again."
