"The hotel is in a great location… Every staff member that we interacted with was friendly and polite and kind and seemed genuinely excited about doing their job… Which is incredible considering that the hotel was sold out for the weekend very busy at a very busy time of year and everybody was lovely and pleasant. "The Merchant is a beautiful hotel. My room on the 15th floor had the most incredible full window views. It is very quiet. The rooms are modern and somewhat sparse, could use a few water glasses and an amenity kit in the bathroom. Well outfitted gym in the basement. Given the recent ownership change, it felt like I was the only guest staying there... think they are getting back on their footing. No complaints, other than it being eerily empty of other hotel guests. "
