"We had an Oceanview room on the first floor and the view from the front porch was outstanding - maybe 50-75’ of beach to the water from the front sidewalk. There were half a dozen palapas spread out on the beach in front of the rental units and the HUGE pool that has a swim-up bar. The pier goes out to the hotel restaurant, which looks very new, with updated decor and a very professional and courteous staff. "I booked thru this site on November 15th for Barana hotel and when I got there I was told that I was the 3rd person that day that showed up with our reservation and there was no reservation booked with the hotel. The hotel has no information of the booking. He then asked me to pay him directly for a room that night. He also mentioned that the hotel do not have any business with hotels.com. I would like my 81$ back please and thank you. "

"Mr. Flores, our gracious host greeted us on arrival and for us comfy in our room with orientation of hotel and area. Lots of upgrades since our last visit, with big, private bathroom, comfy bed, A/C, small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and small deck looking out to Caribbean Sea. Close to all Dangriga services. We had a Wonderful stay and will definitely come back."

"This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :).
