"We stayed at Westgate Palace from October 14–17 to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday, and we really enjoyed our stay! The property has a true resort feel, which we loved. Everything (especially the room) was clean and up-to-date. The pools and hot tub were nice, and being able to catch the fireworks each night was an added bonus! The location was perfect for visiting the Universal parks, with everything just a short drive away. The staff was wonderful throughout our stay, always friendly...

"This was probably the worst experience I have ever had. The first room we got had a really bad odor and the shower did not work. Instead of immediately addressing the issue they pushed it off and later that night tried fixing with no results. Then after changing my room the air was on all night and could not turn down it was 61 the entire time just froze through the night. Worst travel experience I have ever had. They are not as well maintained as the demos they show on the tour."

"We had been told the facilities had been renovated in the last few years. The room we had, although clean, looked as though it had new flooring and paint, but the entrance door to the room looked as though it was ready to fall off and hard to open, as well as the door handle to the balcony, the counters in and outside the bathroom looked to be from the 1960s, as did the sinks and mirrors. No secure WIFI. The staff at the desk seemed nice enough but all and all, to us, the room was not worth the...
