"The room was clean and bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hot tub is a nice addition but not quite hot enough The free shuttle to town is a definite plus. Only negative is the dinner menu…. Plates to share and expensive considering the food quality. I would have loved some fresh organic options on the menu. The Banff townsite is not far away though. I do live the feeling of being nestled in the mountains. I will go back again"

"Everything is excellent except for security. Back door doesn’t require guest swipe card to enter. Noise isolation for rooms can be improved as we can hear other room’s shower noise very clearly."

"Always good to stay at Cow Lake. Easy check-in and out. Friendly staff. Cabin could use an update and add a few amenities to the room like shampoo, body wash, and better hand soap for the bathroom, an initial supply of coffee & coffee filters. The General store has everything you need. Bed is comfortable. Wifi and TV was great. Lots of space. Our pups were very comfortable. Nice quiet spot if you are looking for a friendly place to hang out. "

"Although the cabins are old they are solid and well maintained. What really stands out are the low cost and we loved the wood stove / fireplace giving our stay a rustic ambiance and nice quiet stay. It’s great to be outside the busy Canmore zeitgeist but just a few minutes away from the amenities. The last time we stayed in a condo in Canmore it was noisy with party people until 4 AM who kept the loud party going despite being asked politely to tone down the noise. This was dead quiet friendly...

"Clean room and spacious for room with 2 queen beds and fireplace. Quiet neighborhood. Only draw back was that beds were hard and bit uncomfortable. We did end up with an upgrade and free bus passes."

"Breakfast was sent back i ordered sausage and eggs the sausage was obviously deep fried or burned in an oven the toast was plain wonder bread with some kind of margarine smashed all over it. My wife ordered pancakes that were stone cold and crusty hard. It was awful. "
