"Used the hotel as a base when visiting family in the local area. Nice location, very safe. All staff were professional and friendly.
Rooms in both the annex and main hotel were spacious and clean, the main hotel perhaps feeling a little more modern. Great breakfast with both continental and hot fresh foods to order. Staff in the restaurant were exceptional!
We were offered a fan in our room but it did little in the recent heatwave - totally not the hotel’s fault!! But perhaps consider...

"Great little rooms right in the airport. No windows means they are pitch black when the lights go out which I find great. Nice and quiet overall. Excellent for an early morning flight. Bathrooms are small wet rooms with a good shower and nice hot water.
Staff were also really friendly and helpful."

"The hotel room was comfortable and clean enough. However the staff wasn't very helpful nor smiley. They didn't give any explanation on the shuttle service to the airport terminals upon arrival (it's an airport hotel, it's the bare minimum!). I had to ask about the shuttle. The clerk just showed me the schedule but didn't say we needed to buy a ticket for the shuttle. Experience at the hotel was okay for a one night stay near the airport no more."

"The central forced-air heating had been turned off throughout the hotel after a recent heat wave. When we checked in it was 13°C outside and the room heat would not turn on. The Duty manager was unable to turn it on after five phone call attempts, requiring 20 mins wait each, allthis lasted until past 2AM, and waked-up by this manager calling to see if it was working yet. It was not, it was blowing colder air in to our room. He tried to move us to another room and same issue there, after 30mins...

"Didn’t care for the bar staff but the rest were very good, still don’t like tips being added to bills. Really liked the room. The size , the coloring and the less is more furniture and there being no raised threshold at the bathroom door. Of coarse , the location doesn’t get better for the airport! The scrambled eggs at breaky were not palatable to me and I hate to waste food.
If only the Copthorne Tara with twenty times the numbers had as many coffee and toaster machines and overhead heat...

"Oh my Goodness where do I start! Jon, Nick, Laura and the lovely woman who cooked my breakfast were all so helpful and accommodating! Its such a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, with a quiet and relaxing back patio to enjoy with your free beverages, and a lounge area too. My room was so comfortable. The Shuttle to and from the Airport was Invaluable and £15 each way. Different breakfast options are also offered.
