"We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. "Steve was really friendly and helped us find a nice place for dinner and breakfast. Kindly sorted a parking space on the property as I think it was a quiet night. But there’s also a huge car park on the other side of the building. More to do at the property than we realised. The communal area is brilliant. Don’t waste your money in the arcades as there’s loads to do at the hotel: pool, air hockey, table tennis, old school games table (pac man etc), sound system to choose your own music. Also...

"Easy walk from The Hard interchange bus station. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. A great pre-cruise hotel in Portsmouth. Also, on cruise day there are plenty of taxis at The Hard, no need to book a rideshare."

"I enjoyed an early swim noting a reasonable sized pool and that the cleanliness was good. I was able to use the jacuzzi, steam and sauna room also available. All staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was good and bathroom although the temperature was quite warm. Tried to alter it but with no luck. "

"Mein Zimmer hatte einen separaten Eingang hinter dem Hauptgebäude. Das Bad war etwas beengt, aber es ging. Mein Fahrrad wurde ohne Probleme in der alten Küche des Pubs untergebracht, der inzwischen geschlossen hat. Frühstück gab es nicht, aber einen Wasserkocher mit Kaffee und Tee.
