"This property is under renovation so I can see that they are working to improve it. During my stay, the pool was closed for maintenance, the front lobby looked clean but under renovation. I rented 2 rooms. One smelled of mildew and the other smelled like someone had lived there long term and they smoked. The bathrooms were original and had significant wear. There was newer furniture put in rooms that had not been deep cleaned or painted prior. The walls were dirty. The white sheets were clean,...

"This historic property is extremely well-maintained and very comfortable even for an extended stay. It is really the centerpiece of Anniston. Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant after a bumpy check-in experience. Breakfast was generous if a little uneven. There are a few indications on Expedia that are not quite accurate anymore, but that doesn't take away from a generally very positive stay."

"The owner, Mr Kamal, let us know that the hotel will be getting renovations soon. The hotel was already good but it will be a GREAT stay soon. Maggie, Aahmaryiah, Mr. Peter, and Chloe were essential staff that made our stay WONDERFUL!! they were very helpful and assisted us when needed.
