"⭐ Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Avoid This Hotel
Absolutely appalling experience at the Clayton Hotel. I paid extra for a larger room with a view, only to be given the complete opposite.
After complaining, I was moved to another room with what appeared to be blood-stained pillows, brown stains on the carpet and broken lights. Completely unacceptable.
When I complained again, instead of upgrading me or offering a proper solution, I was offered a DOWNGRADE to a smaller room because...

"Good location although noisy in the evening, however the wet room drain gave the room an unpleasant smell. The hotel must have been aware of this, as when I arrived the window was open and the bathroom fan on. The problem became evident overnight when I had to shut the window and turn the bathroom light off. They should not have put me in that room. Very disappointed."
