"At one point, Rainbow Motel.may have been down, but the new owners are worki g to turn the experience around. What you get: a clean room with TV and a comfortable bed and shower. But, youre also RIGHT across from arguably one of the BEST bakeries in the country (Weber's Bakery -fresh morning sonuts and pastries), around the corner from Chicago's most popular beef sandwich (Portillo's), within a 2 minute walk of several other restaurants as well as an Aldi, Walgreens and Ace Hardware. BUT......

"Great location on Navy Pier. Just a few steps away from boat tours and 10 minute walk to downtown. Excellent room, especially liked the big chair to look out the window at Lake Michigan and the fabulous Chicago skyline. Hotel staff were very nice. Restaurant and bar were good. "
