"Lovely hotel staff polite and friendly checking in, our room was very small and a bit tired looking with some of the fittings looking a bit grubby and tatty and some marks on the wall, The bar and restaurant area were very nice and our breakfast was excellent. I would recommend going for an upgraded room hopefully a bit larger than ours."

We didn’t use the bar and grill restaurant or the Starbucks but these seem to be well patronised with a great vibe. We will certainly look to use Village Hotels in future"

"I was worried about taking a single room but actually it was a decent size with everything I needed such as iron and hair dryer. The (very small) bathroom had great water pressure and hot water throughout my stay. Front desk were super friendly and helped organise taxis etc for me. The hotel has ample parking and is in a quiet location. I’d never considered staying there before but I’m very likely to choose it again. "Great fresh and clean facility that felt modern. Bar area and restaurant for breakfast was great, good options, well maintained and staff really helpful. Do have to pay for parking though which we didn’t realise."

Bank Holiday weekend booked fora spa weekend and the salon was shut the entire time of our stay. Disappointing.
